LATRICE RICKETTS

Latrice Ricketts is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hey Gworl™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving children, teens, young adults, and adult women impacted by foster care, adoption, kinship care, non-biological caregiving arrangements, and trauma.

With more than 17 years of experience in childcare, family support, administration, and community leadership, Latrice has built her work around creating safe, supportive environments where children and families can thrive. As the owner of Milwaukee Childcare Center of the Arts, she works directly with foster children and families, adoptive families, kinship caregivers, and children living with non-biological caregivers.

Her approach emphasizes trauma-informed care, safety, stability, healthy development, trusted relationships, and strong caregiver partnership.

In addition to her philanthropic work, Latrice is the proud owner of the Milwaukee Childcare Center of Arts, a nurturing environment where children can learn through creative and imaginative methods. Her passion for helping others and her deep faith continue to inspire those around her, making a lasting impact on her community.
